Understanding and Enhancing Employee Experience
Problem
A clinical trial research partner for global pharmaceutical companies wanted to optimize employee experience, engagement, and satisfaction, but first it required a means to better survey and measure them. They turned to Excelerate to develop new methodologies to deliver a more streamlined, cost-effective, and research-backed approach to understanding employee experience.
Approach
Working with the client, Excelerate developed two full employee engagement surveys and two pulse surveys. For each, Excelerate built out the questionnaire design, distribution, and employee-facing communication plans, understanding that the surveys themselves could only prove valuable with employee engagement and buy-in.
Excelerate then collected the data from these surveys in Reworc and analyzed the data both overall and in key demographic segments. This analysis yielded client’s eNPS, key findings among broad and more specific demographic groups of employees, and recommended people strategies to build on strengths and improve upon prioritized areas of opportunity.
Results
Excelerate dramatically increased the speed, quality, and usability of the client’s employee data in planning and decision making, allowing them to focus on objective, evidence-based requirements to support workforce decisions and investments. Furthermore, the client now has a means to instantly incorporate input from the entire organization through a single survey.
This streamlined approach improved data usability and accelerated insights, providing employees with a productive way to share their feedback while presenting leadership with clear and actionable tactics to prioritize employee experience improvement initiatives.
